Our Mission
Every child deserves the chance to discover their strengths, build confidence and realise their potential.
School holidays can be especially challenging for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and for their families and carers. The Future Stars Academy provides a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment where children can build confidence, develop friendships, grow their independence and explore the world of health, beauty and wellbeing through engaging, age-appropriate activities.
Our aim isn't to deliver professional beauty training to children — it's to encourage healthy lifestyles, develop valuable life skills, inspire future aspirations and create positive experiences that support each child's personal development. It's the first stage of the Foundation's long-term vision: a supported pathway into vocational learning and future employment in the health, beauty and wellbeing sectors.

Who Can Attend
Built around every child
The Future Stars Academy welcomes children and young people aged 8–15 with SEND, disabilities and additional support needs. Every child is unique, so activities and support are adapted to individual learning styles, communication needs and abilities through reasonable adjustments and personalised support.
We work alongside parents, carers, schools and relevant professionals to make sure every participant can access the programme safely and successfully.

Holiday programme
Three days each week during every school holiday. Each holiday has its own theme, so children can return through the year and keep building new skills.
Healthy Me Week
February Half Term
Healthy habits, personal hygiene, healthy skin & eating, confidence workshops, mindfulness.
3 days/week
Easter (Two Weeks)
Spring Spa Day, Young Hair Stylist, Beauty Science Lab, Healthy Chef, Kindness & Confidence, Wellbeing Olympics.
Mini Spa Week
May Half Term
Spa etiquette, child-safe facials, hand care, bath bomb & soap making, self-care routines.

Halloween Creative Beauty
October Half Term
Face painting, age-appropriate SFX makeup, nail art, hair styling, costume creativity, confidence catwalk.

The Future Stars Passport
Every participant gets their own passport, collecting stamps, certificates and achievement badges through the year — encouraging children to celebrate progress, return for future programmes and grow their confidence over time.

Safety First
Safeguarding & safety
The safety and wellbeing of every child is central to the Academy. All activities are educational, recreational and age-appropriate — never clinical, invasive or age-restricted aesthetic treatments. Sessions are always delivered in line with:
- Current safeguarding legislation
- Health and safety requirements
- Insurance conditions
- Parental / guardian consent procedures
- Appropriate staff-to-child ratios
- Individual risk assessments where required
Making It Accessible
Grant funding
As a grant-making trust, the Foundation seeks funding to provide free or subsidised places for eligible children — so financial circumstances never prevent a child from taking part. Indicative grant values:
- Half-term programme (3 days)
- Up to £150 per child
- Easter programme (6 days)
- Up to £300 per child
- Summer programme (18 days)
- Up to £900 per child
Funding may contribute towards staffing, resources, meals, educational materials, specialist equipment, reasonable adjustments and enrichment activities.
Beyond Age 16
A lifelong pathway
The Future Stars Academy is the first step. Participants who reach 16 can progress onto the Foundation's grant-funded learning pathways — a seamless route from childhood enrichment to vocational education and meaningful employment.
